Please don't forget the power of your network. Tell all of your friends, peers, associates, clients, in-laws, school teachers, pastors, everybody. Your circle is bigger than you think and people want to help. Compose a standard email with your relative's information with a photo and send it to your address book. Do not feel ashamed to ask your friends for help!
Although I have found my Dad, the search is still on for my Uncle Juany Elie in Port-Au-Prince and my Aunt Emmanuela "Foufoun" Elie in Jacmel. I am praying that all of us are able to track down our family in Haiti and have closure on their whereabouts. For those that have to click on the links above, my heart is with you. Keep in touch with me and let's continue to build a bridge with each other for not only support but to continue to build Haiti once the dust settles and the cameras are gone. God Bless us all!

Providing small, simple tokens of love and support… in a convenient and meaningful way
A Shoebox of Love
In times of dire need after a tragedy such as the earthquake in Haiti, the basic needs of people can sometimes be overlooked in the effort to access and address issues of a larger scale. At Shoebox4Haiti, our goal is to provide small essential items to survivors of the earthquake in convenient and easy to carry packages like a shoebox.
Our hope is to restore a sense of dignity and decency in the lives of as many earthquake survivors as possible by providing them the items necessary to maintain a healthy level of personal hygiene. We think such personal hygiene items can mean a lot, especially under the difficult circumstances in which the earthquake survivors are now living.
At Shoebox4Haiti, we know that a shoebox full of small essentials things may not sound like much, but we trust that each shoebox will make a difference in the life of a survivor. We want to reach as many earthquake survivors as possible. Will you help us? Will you and your family fill a shoebox or two or three with some much needed items for the survivors of the earthquake in Haiti? We welcome shoeboxes of all sizes created to meet the needs of people of all ages. For the detailed list of recommended items visit www.shoebox4haiti.com
We will collect filled shoeboxes at various locations throughout the areas of metro Atlanta in Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Vancouver, British Columbia; and New locations coming soon. For more information on specific drop-off times and locations visit www.shoebox4haiti.com.
All items collected by will be delivered to Haiti by Shoebox4Haiti.com partners Michael Robison, Pastor of Grace Church in Kingsport, Tennessee and Matt Chambers of Safewaternexus along with Ministry Flight International. Pastor Michael Robison and Matt Chambers have arrived in Haiti with our first shipment, but we need so much more.
Your support and contributions are greatly appreciated. To find out more about the organizers of Shoebox4Haiti.com, please visit www.peculiarplace.tv.

Tents for Haiti
The rain season is about to start in Haiti and I am so thankful that there is an organization that's raising money to purchase tents for those that are displaced in Haiti. I can't imagine having no shelter to provide me and my family while it's raining. Bedsheets are being used now as shelter to protect most from the blazing sun. Bedsheets don't stand a chance in the rain. Please check out the site and give what you can. It doesn't have to be much, I can't afford to give a lot at this time either so I gave $10. Not a lot but I figure anything will do. I just need to at least help get one family under a tent.
